Biography
Dr. Anisha Campbell is a distinguished educator and leader who has more than sixteen years of experience in higher education. In 2008, while at Bowie State University, she became the principal investigator of a five-year, $12.4 million Math Science Partnership grant awarded by the National Science Foundation. As a result of the grant, Anisha developed two community outreach programs at the middle- and high school levels in collaboration with Prince George’s County Public Schools that focused on increasing the participation of underrepresented groups in STEM.
As the associate director, Dr. Campbell is the face of the Terrapin Teachers program. She plays a very key role in the program's success. She is in charge of executing all the marketing efforts, fundraising, monitoring the program budget, and supervising the master teachers and the program management specialist.
