KAYLA WHITE, M.ED.

Biography


Kayla attended The University of Delaware, where she earned a B.A. in Secondary Mathematics Education and the University of Maryland where she earned her M.Ed. in Human Development.  Kayla currently teaches at Paint Branch High School, where she has been for the past 9 years.  Kayla is a leader at Paint Branch High School and has experience teaching students of all levels from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus BC.  She is eager to share her classroom knowledge and experiences with the Terrapin Teacher Program.

Kayla's position is unlike other Master Teachers.  She is also currently a full time employee of Montgomery County Public School, where she teaches mathematics at Paint Branch High School.  Kayla will work with TT 60% of the time and spend 40% of her time teaching at Paint Branch High School.   This is a really remarkable collaboration that brings unique opportunities to TT and our partner schools.
