Jonathan Mevs
Computer Science
Jonathan Reed Mevs is a Terrapin Teachers MCERT Alumni (’19) from Maplewood, New Jersey. He declared Computer Science as his major in his second semester freshman year, and following some key experiences in TLPL101 during sophomore year, began to pursue the MCERT path offered. He is currently teaching in Washington, DC. Outside of the classroom, Jonathan can be found in the woods enjoying a hike, on his computer playing some video games, or discovering new music. Jonathan wants to stay out of politics for as long as possible, but knows he will have to eventually dabble in it to work toward national education reform.
